Tommy Gogolen, USA National Telemark team member suffers a major blow once again to his right knee. This is devastating news to Gogolen who came off a career best season after make a miraculous comeback from his first ACL surgery back in August of 2011. Just 8 months later while playing a pick up game with some friends Gogolen went to pivot while running and simply “fell over.” According to his Doctor the graph never took. Gogolen was able to ski all winter on the ACL by simply building up his surrounding muscles protecting it but in reality the new graph was rejected by his body.
Surgery was slated for May 15, 2012 and Gogolen expects to have a full recovery for the 2012-2013 ski season.
